Our Second Day in Vegas

Today we went out for breakfast coz there wasn't much to eat in the hotel. We went to a mexican place which was just across the road but took about 15mins to get to because of all the people and cars. The place was packed and we had to wait to be seated. There was a line up behind us to get in as well. The food was very good but it was strange eating fried potatos with seasoning for breakfast.

Once we were full we decided to walk in the opposite direction to yesterday, and check out all the casinos. I liked going this way better coz there were less places to see and each casino had a theme. We saw the MGM Grand first, inside they had a lion habitat with real lions. The habitat had glass windows so you could see the lions all 24/7. Across the road was New York New York which was all lit up and they had a games room for the kids who were too young to gamble. New York New York also had a roller coaster, which happens to be the scariest roller coaster I've ever been on!!! I couldn't wait for it to be over, you constantly felt like you were falling, one time it looked like the roller coaster was going to go one one but it zipped you the other and THAT was SCARY! Joan and I were shaking for a long while after. We had to sit down and have a glass of wine to calm our nerves at the Luxor.
The Luxor was set up like you were in Egypt. While you were inside you felt like you were in a pirimid. It was cool.
Oh wait I forgot to mention the Excalibur, this casino look so cool from the outside it was all fairy tale like, it had towers like a castle and was colorful. I didn't like the inside as much as some others but I like it's outside.
The last casino on this side of the Las Vegas boulevard was the Mandalay Bay. This one was huge! It looked so big and grand from the outside, inside it was exactly that big and grand.

All these casinos were linked together so you could walk from the Excalibur to Mandalay Bay without going outside! Which is a long walk about 3 miles! And this was the shorter side of the Las Vegas boulevard! Each casino is about a mile long! Huge!!

Once we got back to our casino we lounged by the pool and swam before going to Cirque du Soleil.

Cirque Du Soleil, KA, was at the MGM Grand and was AMAZING! I loved it! There were speakers in the back of every chair. The show started with a big hole where the stage should have been with flames coming up. The stage eventually came but it didn't say there. It turned vertical and the people were tied to ropes and appeared as though they were running up the stage. It was spectacular!

After the show Joan and I did the usual. Had a Cocktail or a few and played on the gambling machines, losing a few dollars and then falling asleep!
