The day was spent walking up and down the Las Vegas boulevard. Oh man, it was exhausting!!! Everything was so big, like huge big, like bigger that big! Coz everything was so big it was hard to keep track of where you were and where you've been. To make it more exhausting there were a billion people, like millions and millions of people every where. It was so exhausting dodging all the people all day. We did a bit of shopping and booked tickets to Phantom of the Opera for tonight and a tour to the Grand Canyon on Wednesday.
By the time we got back to the hotel my feet were sore and I didn't want to move. So we spent a bit of time relaxing by the pool and swimming. It didn't smell very nice, and there were waiters who walked around offering everyone drinks. These waiters also didn't wear very much.
Then came the time to leave for Phantom of the Opera. It was at the Venetian, which doesn't seem very far on the map but really it was a long way a way. During the day there were a billion people on the street, at night there were about 4 billion people on the street. It was very stressful getting to where we had to go, trying to fight our way through the crowd.
The show was AMAZING! Wow! The chandelier did amazing things and spun around above our heads and fell from the celling just stopping before it hit all the people. It was so cool!
The walk back from the show was even more busy and stressful. It was hot and Joan and I just wanted to get back to the hotel. There was a lighting storm so we watched it for a bit giving ourselves a break from the crowd. When we got back we had a glass of wine and our favorite place and then played on the machines. I won $5 from $1, so I saved it for the next night where I lost the $5 in about 1 min. I was sad.
