The Grand Canyon

We were picked up from our hotel at 7:30am in a pink jeep. Coz we were picked up first I got the front seat which was really good. There were 10 people in all and they were all from New York. 

It took about 3 hours to get to the Grand Canyon. We had to drive over the Hoover Dam which was pretty spectacular and then into the desert Arizona. This was very amazing! Everything was so dry and hot. Check out the photos. 

The Grand Canyon was pretty spectacular! You could walk right up to the edge and be feet from death! There were no hand railings or anything, it was just a straight drop down! Even I was scared to get too close. Joan didn't like how close to the edge I got, she said "Emilie be careful I have to take you back to you mother!" 

I am really glad we went I really enjoyed seeing it. Like Las Vegas it was so big, like huge big! 

In the evening Joan and I we out for a really nice dinner. We went to a resaurant in the Paris casino. The food tasted so good and the place was crowded! After dinner we went to watch the water show at the Bellagio, it started before I was ready and I jumped about 10 feet in the air and almost landed on top of Joan. The show was spectacular, the water and lights danced to the music that was playing. Like everything else, it was big! On the way back to our hotel we saw a small jazz band. They were from New Orleans, there were 3 trombones, a sax, 2 trumpets, a tuba and 2 drumers. They didn't use music, and they played so well. I love watching them. They were having so much fun just playing away carefree!
