There's even snow and ice undercover.

It's so beautiful

Unfortunatly it was too cold to stay outside for long, so we had to take some quick photos then go inside

I took this from inside because it was too cold to stay outside for too long. It's amazing how the sea looks like a road.

Someone went to a lot of effort just so we didn't have to walk 10 metres extra around this pile of snow.

FREEZING!

It took a lot of pain to get this photo. I had to take my hand out of my glove, then my camera didn't get a good enough photo so I had to walk closer which ment walking away from the bus stop, which ment being in the cold even longer! The wind was blowing and this temperature is measured out of the wind. Imagine how my cheeks felt if my hand hurt from being outside for 30 seconds my cheeks were ice blocks that I couldn't feel!

There wasn't much to do because it was extremely cold outside and the house was very small. So we spent a lot of time playing cards. It was so lovely and fun! My Lamingtons

Because of these lamingtons I locked my self out of my room! Silly Lamingtons! I went to put the cake in my room so no one would eat it, and I decided that I would leave my keys to my room with the cake. Stupid me! 30 euros and 12 hours later I was able to retrieve the cake. grrrr

Sibelius Academy

This is the building I'll be spending most of my time. It's were all the orchestral instruments go to practice and have lessons. It is right in the centre of Helsinki so across the road there are ALL the shops. It's very handy! :)

There are 3 buildings to the sibelius academy. This is the nicest, it is called the T-building or the T-Talo (T because of the name of the street it's on)

This is where we bbqed our lunch. We had to share it with a school group and we got to eat some of their food :)

Suomi is Finalnd in Finnish. It means swamp land, because a lot of the land is like a swamp

My first day Julian took me berry picking. This is a photo of a little cottage. All the Fins have cottages like this which are all this colour. I think they are so cute!
