Osoyoos

I loved Osoyoos so much! We only spent about 3 days there and I want to go back. We went to see Joan's good friend Heather get married. They welcomed me into there house and I was so greatful to be there. We arrived in Osoyoos on Friday evening and we just relaxed in the hotel and went and had a really good dinner. 

Saturday we went to Heather's to help prepare for a bbq they were having that night. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen, I did a lot of peeling and chopping. It was fun and hot. For lunch we had bbq hot dogs, which I'd never had before. They tasted very good but the whether was so hot and I didn't feel very hungry. Heather's husband Ivor has three sons and they were home for the summer holidays. We didn't see them much that day (I think they were all feeling a bit ill) Ivor keep asking them to do things but they didn't move, haha, poor Ivor. 

While everyone went to the wedding rehearsal I walked around the town which took about 30mins so I had 30mins to spare not sure what to do with myself. So I sat by the lake and looked at the dry hills. It is so beautiful there, take a look at the photos!! 

Joan picked me up and we went to the BBQ where I was drilled with questions about Australia. It was kinda o.k. Ivor's sons didn't really talk to me much and I didn't want to talk to all the old people all night so I went and started talking to them anyway. They invited me out with their friends which was so much fun! We went to the beach and partied there. It was very fun!
