How Embarrassing!

Here in Chilliwack, car drivers stop for pedestrians. If you look like your about to cross the road and you're waiting for the cars to go by, they will just stop for you. Even if you haven't even started crossing the road. 

This is what happened to me... I was walking back to my aunt's place by myself. I knew cars had the tendency to stop if you looked like you were about to cross the road, so I tried to look as though I wasn't going to cross the road, coz I didn't want to make a fuss about crossing the road. A car on the far side of the road to me stops his car, winds down his window and yells. "Are you going to cross the road?" I was so embarrassed! I said "yeah thanks" and ran across the road. Ah I felt so stupid. That's exactly what I didn't want to happen!

Oh well I'm home safe now. Exhausted after two gym sessions again today.
